A Good mash-up of the biggest Viral hits: Weezers New Pork and Beans

All righty everyone I heard this song "Pork and Beans" on WCYY a few days back and I said; wow that a cool song ill have to check it out some more when I am at home( I could realate to some of the lyrics"). Well it took me a few days but I went on there myspace to listen too it - and that just had a clip of it so I was pretty disappointed - but I noticed under they blog that the video for the song had just debut on Youtube; so I went there and watched - I noticed a lot of reference to viral hits right away and they had the actual people that made these videos so popular in them and it was actaully put together well - which is rare for a mash up. Deffintly worth checking out - even if your confused by internet pop culture; this is a great song; catchy and at least I can easily relate too it. If you do like internet pop culture though; your in for a treat because this video has references to all the biggest viral hits over the last 5 years. Enjoy :D

EDIT:
They removed the embed version of this video so if you want to see it your gonna have to check it out at

I watched The Mighty Morphing Power Rangers when I was little

As the title says, I watched them when I was like 5 years old or so - but I never suspected what I found today.
I was randomly watching random clips on the internet for like a(n) mass up remix of funny audio's from the show - because I have nothing more constructive to do. Then I found evidenced of this floating head in a large glass tube's self destruction, check out the clip below for the evidence.

Yes Zordon, as you can see WAS addicted to slime, this started him down a long and twisted self destructive path that brought him to new lows throughout his television career such as the time he decided to change his style.

(please note I did not edit that image at all - I actually found it digging through one of the shows.)
Yes those are flowers and fruit loops on his head and he does have a mustache, this is the effects of slime. Eventually he became so addicted to slime that his self destructive path finally claimed his life in this video right here:

So in Zordon's memory don't drink; you may end up one day giveing teenagers "zoids" and then you may ask them to kill you for the "faint of the universe." They will do it - just to put you out of your misery.

Other Characters in the media that are doomed to share this fate:

Paula don't do the slime - Listen to the B- team, Don't die to an ungrateful teen like Zordon did.

Anyways Have a nice Sunday everyone.

Steve Burns aka Steve from Blues clues

A few months ago my mom told me that Steve Burns (the guy who played Steve on Blue's Clues) was now in the music business, and I was pretty much like "Wow, that is amazing even if he sucks." I at the time was very bored with my music - I had over listened to all the music I owned. So I deiced to check his music out. I have to admit I liked it a lot - it resembled music like that They Might be Giants which is one of my all time favorite bands but with a twist. So It was good music - and not only that but it was Steve Burns from blues clues who is awesome haha (loved that show when I was younger) so he got automatic cool points. I can't gaurantee your gonna like his music but It be cool to see what ol' Steeve made of himself after his big Blue's Clues Debut now wouldn't it? If you agree with me on that last statement I will include a embed of one of his music video's; Enjoy.

WCYY And local music = cure to all Maine Probs

Living in Maine has a lot of downsides, such as annoying weird weather, high taxes, an economy based around potato's( http://boilemmashmem.ytmnd.com/ : just in case your unfamiliar with what potato's are.) among other problem's but there are two things here in Maine that makes dealing with all that almost worth it, yes even dealing with a random snow storm in the middle of June. And the good thing for any of you out there want to enjoy these things even without living in Maine.
These two things are (1) a local radio station named WCYY, and (#2) The local rock scene hear in Maine.
WCYY: This Is a radio station up here in Maine that if you want to check out; you can actually listen to them on the net by going to http://www.wcyy.com/ its an alternative/modern rock station and it plays national and local music as well as new rock and stuff from as far back as the eighties.
I started listening to this station when I got out of the hospital back in 2003; I heard about it from one of the other people there and now I wish I had heard about it sooner. The first song I heard on this station was "What's My Age Again" by Blink 182 which was lucky because I was a huge Blink 182 fan at the time. And at that time - Blink 182 was the only thing I was listening too - So when I heard things like "Incubus" and "3 Doors Down" I was even more drawn in because there was all this great music out there that I had never heard before. I have listen to the station daily ever since.

Anyways enough about me, As for on air personality's they are five at this station and honestly I would never covert to satellite radio if I couldn't listen to any of these guys again. Here is a general description of each person for you.
Robin Ivy - Morning Show
Love listening to Robin in the morning because not only do I need my rock to wake up but she gives me important in site to my oncoming day via my horoscope on "Robin Zodiac Zone." Every hour or so she gives an update on how the stars are going to effect your day - she also briefs you on the color of the day - which is an important part of my day, and she is a killer DJ plays music that goes well together and then blends the good ads in when they need to pay the bills. She also often has a lot of random visitors that make it even more interesting to listen too and if that is not enough, you can call in and get your own personal horoscope for today - and its surprising how good she is at it - I mean she just starts talking to these people and can tell THEM all about their life it is amazing.
Rob- Day Show
Rob runs from early afternoon (Just before lunch time) to five a clock at night - he is hilarious a lot of the time and always has an interesting story to tell you either from his life or from the music world. He Runs two diffrent programs that only he runs which are "Lunch Bunch," which you guessed it (or maybe you didn't) is at lunch and "The Top 5 at 5". The "Lunch bunch is a program that plays exclusively eighty's and ninety's retro rock that is refreshing to hear because most of the stuff you have not heard in a while and rock never goes bad (unless your talking about the song "Video Killed the Radio Star" that thing keeps coming back from the dead even though its way past its expiration date - probably because they met your children wooohoooowoo.) And the Top Five at Five is the Top five requested songs of the day played in reverse order(#5 to #1) and how they determine this is by listeners voting either on the website or via phone (either Text message or Voice message.)
Mark Curdo - Evening Show
Mark Curdo is also hilarious especially when he first gets on and him and Rob are on together. He is also very knowledgeable of the local rock scene; His program runs form 6 to 11 and doesn't have a like daily special program but he does do The Local Music Announcements daily (Rave and Rage) and Weekly does a program called spinout which is exclusively music from the local, Inde and underground markets.
Joey Disco - After Dark with Joey Disco (aka Late Night)
Joey Disco is funny, and has the best music program but unfortunately most people can't listen to him because they are not like me and are like sub-insomniacs. But if you can't stay awake till 11pm you may want to check him out on the Saturday morning recovery program which goes from whenever he gets into the studio till 11AM - he is a great DJ so I indefinitely suggest at least listening to the Saturday morning recovery program.
Jason Stewart - Temp I think random times.
Unfortunately I don't have a lot to say about Jason because the times he is on the air I am busy or getting the limited sleep in that I actually do get. But the few times I have heard him he is really funny. I don't know much about him and can't even cheat off the website because it really doesn't have much on him :(
They have 94 min music marathons that are uninterrupted by commercial breaks and that's a good amount of time in my opinion. They don't plat a real lot of commercials and the ones that they do play aren't bad - I mean they are typically funny, or have some general entertainment value in some way other than the Jolly John Commercials which kind of creep me out or seem to over zealous to me; but all used car dealerships have those kind of commercials.

I mean I know I have pretty unique music taste that they don't play on this station things from like DMX or Snoop Dog - to Steve Burns or They Might be Giants but I am glad that they don't because then they wouldn't be them plus it's great to listen to something because you maybe yearning for something new but not getting it until you start looking for it. Plus they are a modern rock station and if they played any of those artist they wouldn't be really (though the newer "They Might Be Giants" song "I'm Impressed." kinda sounds like something that 9 inch nails did in the past.

And even though they don't play those artist - they do play some amazing artist that I love and wouldn't hear on any other typical rock station such as the, "The Beastie Boys", or "Depeche Mode". Also no one plays as much from the local music scence that this station does - and the Maine local music scene is killer, which brings me to my next subject I wanted to post about
The Maine Local Scene-
I am only going in depth on one group at the moment my absolute favorite local band but they're are many which; you can expect to see more post concerning the local music scene here in Maine and you if you can't wait for me to do that either check out WCYY (Which you should anyways; or go to myspace and search for bands within 50 Miles of the zip code 04043 or within the state of Maine.
But my favorite local band - is indefinitely a band called "HISS & CHAMBERS" which you can check out at their myspace http://www.myspace.com/hissandchambers or at their band website http://www.hissandchambers.com/ (as of right now its under construction. This band has an amazing sound and interesting lyrics my favorite song by them "The Kiss" has such an mesmerizing beat to it that I can just replay it for hours. On their Myspace they also have some remixes to their songs which are pretty kick @$$. This band definitely has the potential to be big if they get enough people listening to them, honestly their music is a lot better than quite a bit of the national based music out there right now.

End Note: As you can see I am definitely CYY

I just noticed a few things

#1: I just noticed that I have no real general description of who I am on here at all - I'll have to piece that together and post that up here for anyone who cares.
#2: Despite getting a fraction more than zero wall posts or my space comments a week - I still visit both sites like once an hour - only to be generally disappointed when I get there; I guess that teaches me for adding 200+ people that really don't like me so much to my freinds list.
#3: That my blog has no real structure; its kind of just like a flow of odd ideas; I guess thats not a bad thing.

Reminder: Free Coffee

Just as a reminder today is free ice coffee day at Dunkin' Donuts. I have maped out all the locations to get a free coffee. Be careful though according to an inside source your car will be checked to see how many occupants it has in it.

Okay challenge to every one also: who can get the most Ice coffees for free - so far I have gotten 2 and it's only 11am who can beat me.

Music: Motion City Soundtrack

I'd like to take some time this morning to talk about what I am rocking out too:
Those who know me know I love older motion city stuff like such as:
MCST - The Future Freaks Me Out

I personally love the video to that song - high energy funny and it keeps you guessing. I love the lyrics to the song even more than the video though - I don't know what it is about them; to me they are so interesting.
So any ways this morning; I was looking for the video for that song - and I noticed some newer songs in my search results so I figured I'd check them out.
MCST- IT HAD TO BE YOU

Well I have to say I didn't really like the video as much as I liked the first one but I love the lyrics they really sing to me. Of course that may or not be because a couple years ago I made an mosaic Taj'Mahal out of magazine clippings while going on a pop tart eating binge. Yeah, but anyways this song is killer check it out; and while you do that I may "fight crime with mango's and join the PGA" and if that doesn't kill me It will make me who I am. Seeing how it will take me a long time to admit that I have failed both of my goals you might as well check, if you liked the previous two while your waiting for my reply on the crime fighting with da mangos.

Motion City Soundtrack - This Is For Real

Motion City Soundtrack - My Favorite Accident

PS: Yes I know I linked you two; I can count just I can't tell you how long it's going to take for me to quit fighting the crime with the mango's - I would invest in produce if I were you; I am bound to go through alot of it in the next few days.

Blog Reveiw: lifeOmaniac http://blog.archit.in

I found another great blog on Social Spark today it has a lot of product information for other bloggers out they're as well as the general web surfer (that would be me). I am pretty new to the blogging scene so I found some of the stuff on this blog really helpful and I also laughed when I saw I post about randomized CAPTCHAS (if you don't know what those are read this blog I am too lazy to explain it) that only a machine could solve.
A few issues I found with this blog is that it is pretty busy with a few "hire me" adds but thats okay the information is still good its just a little distracting for me. (Hey hes got to make some money some how).
So if your a general web surfer or someone who is just getting into blogging check it out at http://blog.archit.in

Game Review FFXI

Description of the game:
You start off as a "New Adventure" in the world of Vana'dil as one of five unique races all with they're own advantages. You can choose from
Galka: A big burly all male "dog" like kind of race with great physical strength; these Guys aren't the prettiest things in the world but they sure do pack a punch.
Mithra: A "sexy" all female race of "cat" people who are fast and strong and deliver they're hits with great accuracy.
Hume: These characters take after humans and are about average in every way possible making them good in every situation.
Elvaan's: These Tall elf like characters are superior in doing magical based damage and even brute physical damages, they are a force to be
Taru-Taru's: These are adorable mini people that can deliver a massive magical based offensive and are pretty good with ranged based weapons.
After you have selected from the races you get to choose one of six basic "Jobs" each having they're own purpose.
Basic Jobs Include:
Black Mage: An offensive spell caster
White Mage: A healing/protection type spell caster
Red Mage: A job who can mele and/or cast white AND Black magic but less effectively than a black or white mage.
Warrior: A mele based class that either is taking the hits or dishing em out with heavy weapons (Like a big axe).
Monk: A fast attacking martial arts based class who utilizes fist weapons
Thief: A fast mele based job who utilizes light weapons and realies on stealth to dish out massive amounts of damage.

As you progress through the game your skills and ability's evolve and so does you ability's to participate in missions(which is the general story of the game) Player vrs Player arena's and different events. Progression throughout the game also allows you certain other privileges some of these privileges would include.
At level 18 you get the ability (after completing a quest) to take a "sub-job" which adds to your main jobs general strength.
At level 20 you get the ability to ride a Chocobo (Which is a large, flightless bird) which basically is a mount that allows you to move faster and more safely through out zones than you would be able to on foot.
And at level 30 you get to unlock advanced jobs which I personally think is the most killer part of this game. Read the advanced jobs overview for more information.
Overview: Missions
Missions are a unique concept that only FFXI has a mission is basically a new chapter in the story line of the game that you get to praticapate in Some mission involve you running around to get some items or even joining several other people to slay a monstrous beast from the FF world.
Overview:Bestiary and Lore
Another nice thing about FFXI is that it is based on a pre-developed series that has a lot of back story and a lot of pre-existing creatures and such. All most all of the creatures in FFXI are based on creatures in previous games. So you don't have to wonder why certain creatures don't like you very much - but there is enough content that is unique only to this game to keep things interesting.
Overview: Advanced Jobs
There are 13 different advanced jobs each having they're advantages and disadvantages that are even more specialized than the starter jobs if you want more info about these check the FFXI website
Overview: Events
FFXI provides a lot of unique events to the game play of the game these events can include anything from giving away sweets for trick or treating or getting stuff form player aprication event.
Final Review

Final Fantasy XI is one of the best MMO's out there, believe me I know I have played almost every MMO in existence (Yes, I do think its better than WoW).
Whats so good about it? It has a point to playing other than months of grinding to get to the maximum level so you can raid the same instance again and again for gear or PVP till you die of lack of sleep. There are are missions and quests endgame which other MMO's lack or at least ones that have a general meaning to the game. This game also has a general story line which other games in the genre left out. This game also has unique events and the ability to level many classes on one character which is great because I hate starting new characters. It's also cross platform

What I didn't like about it:
The PVP system is kind of weak in my opinion but I rather be playing to a purpose than killing players for no reason all day.
Completing a quest provides no experience for my character - it really runs down the reason for completing a quest.
You Loose EXP for dying,
The billing system (read rant below)
Its not uncommon to run into a jerk in game.
Play Online is annoying to deal with.
The economy is screwed up
Grinding levels can take days
So is the game worth playing with all of those things to aggravate you? No not really I thought it was just the other day then I posted on killingifrit to ask for advice on my review and thats when I realized how stressful this game really was. The only way this game would be worth it to me is If play online gave me my account back and free play for every time they double or triple charged me. And the only way I'd suggest buying this game is if they worked on some of the problems with the game.

Alot of people including myself will cover for Playonline and say that they will never change and you might as well deal; they're is another choice just don't play the game.
Rant Alert:Side Note Billing System
Beware: Rants can cause bad grammar, incomplete sentences and they typically have a general lack of purpose.
The main issue I had with this game wasn't really the game it was the billing system the cost. 12.95 a month just to play this game with one character and an additional 1$ for each additional character so if you want to run multi characters the game is going to cost a small fortune a month to play. Whats even worse about the cost is the billing schedule; your billed at the beginning of every month whether your account has been up for the whole last month or the very last day of the last month, I learned that the hard way. And whats even worse than that is that sometimes the automated billing system has small "errors" and you get double or even triple charged so a game could easily could end up costing you over 50.00$ for a single day of play (This happened to me the last time I have evered played.) A couple of times of being over charged and not checking my credit card statement regularly and I thought I had been paying my complete bill when I really hadn't been. I went over the balance about a year into the game and ended up in some pretty decent credit card debt. This also happened to a friend and I couldn't afford to pay it off for at least 3 months so when I got back to the game my character I had spent so much time on (max level Taru Taru Beast master with a ninja sub job and several of the first level of relic weapons) was deleted over a year of work and the whole reason I ended up in debt in the first place was totally gone. I restarted when I heard a rumor that they had fixed the billing system - so I blindly started playing again but several month later after getting another character to the max level (This time a Galka Paladin)I ended up getting my credit card declined again and lost that character too. When me and my friend reported this bug to them they told us that we were just wrong and we should re review are credit card statements. We reported it several times but we only heard the same response again and again.

Even throughout all of that foolishness I would still love to play again if I had the money and/or they fixed the billing system. I mean I don't think any game was worth the amount of money I was putting into that game. But it really was a good game - I'd definitely Suggest buying it so as long as you keep a watchful eye on your cc bill and mabey one day they will fix the system. That would be great caus I miss my Taru and my Galka :(
Rant Ends Here

Thank you to all the users at the KillingIfrit Community for reading and helping me refine my review so it is the most accurate and absolute best it can be.

Store review: EB Games

The EB games I am reffering to in this review closed a we bit back but it still was part of the chain so it still counts.

The game selection amazing - the people working hear not so much. They harassed me when I went in their to the point of verbal assault every time I went into the store ever since I was like 14 years old. And it was nasty nasty stuff that I won't even put on hear because I would probably have my account on blogger removed. And I made several complaints, then my mom did - so did my friends and then they're parents did - but nothing was done so I refused to shop in an EB games ever again even if they are the only place that carries a game that I want most of my friends also refuse to shop at any eb games ever again. Should really listen to your customers when they claim to be being harrased by one of your employees.

EDIT: it looks like game stop bought eb but I will still not shop at game stop stores that used to be EB's because of this but still will shop at regular game stop stores.

Product Review: Gillette Fusion

This razor is pretty good, it gives a nice shave, and is pretty frictionless and very comfortable.
But I don't understand the purpose of the closer shave vibrating thingy - this thing causes me nothing but trouble and doesn't give me that much of a closer shave. It also makes my hand go numb after a few mins of use which makes it very awkward to shave with seeing how I will either drop the razor or cut myself by accident because I couldn't tell how much pressure I was putting on my numb hand. Another Negative is that the blades to this razor are almost as expensive than the razor itself so you might as well just buy a new one.
But as far as shaving goes even with out using the closer shave thing this is the best razor I have used to date. Weather or not the closer shave thing is worth using is up to you - I am going to tell you now though with or without it this product is worth the extra few dollars.

Product Review: Target Brand Pillows

Target Brand pillows are about Five dollars and yet they are worth about twenty five cents. These pillows become extremely flat and a pain to sleep on fast. They last anywhere from a week to 3 months of decent comfort, you may say thats not bad for five dollars but these pillows are painful to sleep on after they go flat and they can't be fluffed or anything like that to make them better. So you have to ask yourself is it worth saving a few bucks to have to sleep in total agony even for a single day? I think not. These pillows may make nice guest pillows something you don't have to keep them long term for but thats really all.

Game Review: Prision Tycoon (all of them)

Well its hard for me to shake the fact that after I installed and played the first game my computer died. This happened to me twice on two different computers it may be pure coincidence but it has been a common variable for me that has to do with a problem that has cost me a couple thousand dollars to fix. I doubt the game had something to do with the total death of my computers but its still hard to shake especially seeing how it happened the same way twice. It was only the original game that this happened with too - which in itself was odd.

If I look past that though the game(s) are great even the first one. You get to build and manage your own prison and how its upheld - that may not sound exciting but you will easily put hours away in this game because its so interesting. And if the first or second one don't have enough features to hold your attention the third one will - you get to manage the guards of the prison; theyre salary and overall personallity alowing basicly totall costumanazation of the prision and its upkeep.

I definitely suggest picking up the second or third version of this game for a good time when you get bored of your other games - which all of us gamers do. I don't know if I can suggest picking up the first version of this game even if my computers dieing were a coincidence but still pick up the rest.

Store Review: The Christmas Tree Shop

This place is terrible. Do not waste your time going here; you may get mauled by the masses of people who think they are getting good deals but in all actuality the stuff in this place costs a small fortune compared to other surplus stores.
If you don't get attacked by the loads of people crowding this place than you will get lost because this store is horribly organized. And the customer service is deplorable - if they're was an award for worst customer service this place would win it. The people that work here - or at least the people I ran into look and talk down to you and act as if they were some kind of all knowing demi-gods to the bargain hunter. The lines are like out to the parking lot so your going to half to wait a while to check out and its just not a fun time or atmosphere. The only product I found that was worth buying (cow tails for a quarter compared to they're normal price of two quarters) was not worth getting talked down at and waiting thirty minutes in line for.
Save yourself the time and effort its better to pay retail than go to this store quite honestly.

Today in my life May 10th 08

Today I am going to be watching a Indiana Jones marathon on the USA network today with my Mom and brother while eating 5 Dollar foot longs from Subway. Expect to see a review of Subway and they're foot long as well as each of the Indiana Jones movies and the USA network later on. Also it is Mothers Day weekend and if your reading this maybe you should grab a subway sand witch and spend some time with your mom too. Even if your reading this after mother's day its typically a good time to enjoy a movie and a meal with your family at home with out doing any work.

Product Review: A+W Rootbeer

First of all I have to say I friggen' love root beer.
But honestly what I love more is A+W spin on the product; it has a unique taste and goes perfectly with almost any meal.
You may ask "Hey Will how is that different than any other root beer."
Well let me be the first to tell you I have no clue what so ever - it's something very unique in the taste of the drink that smacks your taste buds around and refreshes the crap out of you. No other root beer I have tasted has this unique kick and I have to say I like it very much.
The only thing that makes me sad about this product is that the personal version seems to contain less than other personal versions. It may not - it may just be that I am enjoying it so much that I am disappointed when its gone. But I wish they would make bigger personal versions.

If you still have your taste buds intact at least try an A+W personal root beer your likely to enjoy it and miss it when its gone like I do.

Product Review: Totinos Pizza Rolls

Need a snack or even a meal for less than a dollar?
These little pizza bite are delicious and are extremely inexpensive

I went to target the other day and bought a dozen of them for exactly twelve bucks. Which is amazingly cheap now a days and they are definitely worth it - I mean my dog attacks me for these things and hes a picky eater. He even went into the target bag to attempt to steal them. The taste is a perfect blend of pizza sauce + cheese + an optional thing of pepperoni wrapped in a sort of biscuit type thingy that itself is heavenly tasting They are also filling so you can either eat half of a box for a snack or the whole box for a meal.

The only bad thing about this product is that it taste bad once it goes cold but that takes a while - and if you don't like it the first time it may be because you over/under cooked them - they are extremely touchy on heat and seeing how every microwave is different their is no exact science on how to cook them.

If you like pizza at all this is definitely a good food product for you to try, and if you don't like it youv'e only spent a dollar on them.

Side Note:
I found out yesterday that this product can cost more than a dollar at other stores; and I don't know if they are more than a dollar at each target store, even if you have to spend 3 bucks I suggest trying these out, and for some reason when I ate my first box's of these I didn't like them so much - but the second box was heaven so - yeah.

Movie Review: Layer Cake

I may have not liked Daniel Craig's first attempt at being James Bond, but I did like him as a witty drug dealer in L4yerCake.
This movie is about a British "Gangster" who is about to quit his life of crime and gets involved in one more deal that starts off looking good and ends up being one bad thing after another.

The casting in this movie was done in a way that was near perfect - which is a big reason why I enjoyed it so much.
This movie has a long plot development which is done with the right amount of action to keep it interesting and not too much that would over stimulate you and ultimately confuse the development of the story. This movie isn't a shoot em' up or a psychological thriller but a happy median between the two combined with the charm of a British gangster who just wants to make it in the world.

The only real negative I can think of for this movie is how it ends. Without going into any details that reveal the story I can tell you that you will be at least a little bit disappointed with this ending or lack they're of one. But that isn't reason enough not to see it because the rest of the movie is amazing . I definitely recommend seeing this movie.

Pre-Review: Speed Racer.

The First thing I looked at for the up and coming speed racer movie is the cast: because this movie is based on a pre-existing series - casting for me is everything I am going to judge before watching the movie.
Do the actors match the general general of the original characters; most of them do but a few of the major characters have big casting flaws.
Emile Hirsch as Speed Racer:
I don't know about this one; I mean I don't remember speed being in his mid to late 20's and it showing - I honestly think they should have had a younger actor for this role or maybe an actor the same age that looks younger.
Christina Ricci as Trixie:
Christina looks perfect for this role - if they had casted a younger looking Speed. because speed looks like a 25 to 30 year old its kind of weird looking for me to see him getting intimate with someone who looks like a teenager. Christina is also kind of old for her part but she looks young so it really doesn't matter unless you have the pre-existing knowledge that she is actually in her late 20's. Having this knowledge makes it a little awkward to watch her acting as a late teen. And with out that knowledge you have to watch a guy who looks like he's 30 make his moves on a girl who is in her late teens which too me is a little more awkward.

The next thing I have to criticize is the extreme use of special effects - this movie looks to be the next matrix of its class which would be awesome - but its a kid's movie and the fact is kids do not need the amount of stimulants that this movies putting out they're. I think it also hurts the general idea of the Speed Racer story seeing how speed racer was originally a cartoon based on racing and the cartoon basically stayed in touch with reality to a point. The amount of speical effects in this movie not only breaks the bounds of reality but then goes the extra step to stomp on their remains too.

This movie is all ready a success based on how much hype they generated with advertising - but I honestly don't think they are going to do justice to the Speed Racer show with the sub-par casting and swinging too far away from the original story development of the series with special effects. But thats just my opinion.

Nararto: Rise Of the Ninja

Before Play: Well I bought this game because Naruto is the shiznit and I like playing the arena version of the previous games against my brother.

Review: I majorly paid 60$ for this game at rerealse because I wanted to play this game with my brother - because I figured like all the other 6 million Naurto games out they're it was a good two player game.

Well I was wrong (again... /sigh), this game beefed up the single player version of the game ten fold and then added alot of story and in game elements to the game - but in order to do that they didn't add to the multiplayer at all - its basically the same thing as all the other games minus a few characters (I wanted more characters /cry...)

The Single player version of the game is great - other than the occasionally annoying tree sequence and water that comes out of no where in the middle of a ninja race the game is great. (Stupid trees/water) My brother really really enjoyed watching me fall into lakes and running into stationary objects too so this game has a good + crowd watch value.
The Good:
This game has a great SINGLEPLAYER that allows you to explore the leaf village and interact with characters within the Naurto world.
You can do side missions and make villagers like you which is entertaining and funny. The game will take you more than a few days to complete totally and the achivments for the game are not like super crazy it'll take forever to get rid of this game.

The Bad: Don't buy this game for the multiplayer it is really no different than the last games multiplayer and it has less characters with no ability to unlock new ones.
The Game is very very glichy don't be surprised if you run into someone and then 5 mins later Naurto randomly says "Sorry Mister." Or your randomly flying through a tree sequence land on a branch then Naurto double backs and goes randomly flying into a random tree behind him - you'll see it when it happens its acctaully pretty funny he looks like a figure skater in the sky :P (one who runs into trees) The game also freezes a lot due to lack of separation of zones. (levels are huge)

Rent or Buy: Depends if you plan on playing this game by yourself - buy it but if you want something to do with your brother or your freinds than just rent it becuse you won't be playing this game long at all.

Grade: This game gets 7 out of 10 steamy bowls of ramen - (Nothing worse than cold Ramen.)

I need some extra coin and get rid of some things that are taking up space in my room that I don't nessicarly use any more.

I have decided to get rid of my collectibles even though it is going to be increadably difficult to let them go - but I have to because they are gathering dust and I don't want to end up being a hoarder that can't let anything go - plus extra coin = nice.

The only currant problem I have though is that I have no elligable people that would be interested in buying those collectible or at least for how much they are worth. And tracking down people that would want to purchuse my items would be more time consuming than anything else. I don't want to put the time into getting ready for the item to be sold on the internet.

So I think I am gonna drop them off at one of those "Isold it on ebay" stores so I can have them do it all for me. I mean what a service - I don't worry about getting someone to purchuse the item and can get rid of them asap. And seeing how ebay has millions and millions of visitors each day I'll have my extra coin in no time. <3 "Isold" allready and I havn't even used them yet.

So anyone else out theyre in this world of words that wants either less clutter in they're life or wants so extra coin sould try what I am doing mabey with somthing small at first to get your feet wet then when that goes well totally submurdge yourself and get two generally good things: money, and clutterlessness. (I just made a word I think.)

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men

Before Play:
I thought this game looked amazing, great effects, cool story line, and neato dreato sound track from the previews. I liked what I saw so much I even got two of my freinds to pre-order it before it came out.

Reveiw:
ARG I swear to god, if my brother kills Jenny one more time it will be the end of me.
Yes I played the multi-player version of the game and most of the time me and my brother were being taken down by some crazy situation that won't have ever happened or he just ran off and shot either Jenny, myself or any other character that was semi- important to the story in the face. He also enjoyed running in front of my bullets.

The Good:
The game was uh original and uh co-op? (I think thats good- I mean if the someone your teaming up with isn't shooting your daughter every time you look away.)

The Bad:
The ending was total bull crap - so was the story and the online and everything else that had to do with the game that didn't involve the preveiws. Either of the ending will make you want to write the gaming company to sned you your money back for the game. The graphics are okay but not increadable.

Buy or Rent: Rent - unless its like 5 dollars than buy.

Grade:
4 out of 10 still breathing daughters. Don't let my brother get to them or that will change.

Fable TLC

Okay, Okay, Before you say anything - yes I do know fable is a Xbox game and not a 360 game but I don't feel like making a whole new blog just for a single game. And I am not leaving out fable because its an amazing game so you'll just have to deal with me putting this here.

Before play:
I thought it looked cool. My brother gave it to me for Christmas this last year and I thought wow this is probably the best gift for under 20$ that he could have given me.

Review:
So if it isn't the legendary chicken chaser? This game was amazing I have to give my younger brother props for giving it to me - it wasn't a 20$ old bargain game, just simply a game of all out awesomeness for under 20$. believe me this game - game play, storyline and playability wise beats the crap out of almost every new game I have played.

The Good:
A lot of ridiculous dialouge that makes this game entertaining and a good laugh at the same time with out going over bored which is a hard line to walk.
Never got bored, ever.
The gaming system is simple but not too simple.
Lots of side quests and extra stuff to keep you busy for like a million years.
And theyres alot of silly stuff you can do that will do nothing for you in the game but will make you very happy in real life. Aka marry an evil witch and sacrifice her to a random dark lord and then sleep in her bed.

The bad:
I don't know if it was just my copy but the game froze often - and it was very laggy at points
It's not a 360 game so no achievement points /cry /cry /cry.

Buy or rent: Buy - if you don't you either don't own a xbox/360 or a PC or are very cheap.

Grade:
10 out of 10 arsefaces (that's a good thing - trust me.)

RainbowSix: Vegas

Before Play: This game looks hard-core I have long dreamed of a game that incorporates the flashy busyness of Vegas with the freedom of a first person shooter.

Review: They did this game well, (yes I finally predicted a good one.) Unlike the other game I purchased with this game, "Assassins Creed" (I have to bash that game every chance I get to make my money back.) I honestly enjoyed this game. The game has the unique environments that only Vegas could provide with out the worry of having to rob a casino or deal with take hostages or something like that. You do have to save hostages but thats pretty easy and happens few and far between. Virtual Vegas w/o crowds of "innocent" people as a FPS playground = all around good idea.

The Good:
Cool Guns
Amazing Multi player
Multi-game modes so if you get bored with one you still can do something
Pretty Graphics
Amazing environments

The bad:
When playing the single player you may notice that your squad members are really really dumb and totally useless. Well your almost totally right - they do have two unique uses other than having to do with the story.
#1 Meat Shields: You can only take so many bullets so you might as well use theese alies as sheilds
#2 Distractions: Using a sniper and can't see your enemy? No problem - just send these two out to the middle of the map. All your enemy's will reveal them selfs without taking the risk of getting yourself shot. And if these two die alls you have to do is clear out the people who killed them and then give them some medicine and then tell to run blindly into the next dangerous area.
The single player is short.
Sometimes you will be shot down in some crazy weird way by an npc that couldn't have been possible - actually this will happen a lot which can be frustrating and most likely will result in a lot of swearing and shaking of you first at random objects in the room "**** you lamp!". I personally blamed my brother every time I got (it was his fault pretty often though when we were playing the co-op)
The second one of these games came out pretty soon after the first which kind of made me mad because I spent 60$ to play this game and then shortly after everyone else was playing the second and this one was obsolete.
Also very small selection of weapons (even though they're are quite a few cool ones)
The story development line was increadably predictable but you really shouldn't be playing this game for the story anyways. And even though it was predicable it was still interesting.

Rent it or Buy it:
If you plan to play this just for the story/achievements to get caught up to the second game then just rent it; but if you want to play the multiplayer of this game then buy it. Even though you would want to buy the new one over this one if you could only rent one and buy one.

Rating 7 out of 10 crazy situations to send your allies into.

Bioshock

Before Play:
Before I played this game I have to say I thought it looked pretty weird; but it had the potential of being interesting so I picked it up and gave it a try.

Review:
Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, the characters in this game never shut they're mouths. Don't get me wrong some of the dialog is interesting; but most of it is very weird, very dry stuff that has little importance to the story of the game. The story it self starts out strong and goes strong for a little over 30 seconds then the game becomes awkwardly predictable, I do have to say some of the in-game enemy's (big daddy's) are pretty bad -@ss but they're little counter parts still creep me out(silly little sisters.)

The Good:
This game is super unique - unique enemy's; a totally revamped system of fighting; unique weapons - you get the general idea.
Based in a cool time period ( I <3 the 50's)

The Bad:
Crap plot development - I predicted how the story would turn out from the second my character met that guy who talked my ear off through-out the game.
Too much dialog - may not be so annoying throughout the first play through but the second you will be muting the game and praying that you don't die so that you don't have to hear some really dry over used joke again.
Incomplete things in the game - a lot of the best things in the game really seem incomplete or rushed - honestly they should have cut out some of the dialog and added some more weapons or attacks. Even though theres a lot of different unique things in this game it seems like not many of them met they're full potential
Unbalanced difficulty's - You can run around on the first difficulty smacking things silly and feel like an absolute pro and then on the hardest difficulty everything hands you your behind in like less than a second while they knit you a coat.
And the ending of the game is very cliche; so much so that its kinda like a soap opera - a really weird one.
The game is really short - I beat it in less than 3 days.
And the final boss is really really really dumb. I would put it another way but I don't wish to be offensive.

Rent or Buy:
Rent - a lot of people like this game a lot for some reason but I can't see playing through more than 3 times and keeping my sanity. I mean killing weird crazy people is fun - but I'd rather do it while they or their crazy friends are silent rather than asking me if I am "Mr.Jangles." or telling me some back story about choice.

Rating:
5 out of 10 Big Daddy's "Oh yeah baby."

Mass Effect

Mass effect for the 360 review:

First Opinion:
My first views before playing this game is well it looks sort of Star wars-ish which kind of turned me off the idea of playing this game. But reluctantly I did.

Review:
Well this game is amazing - I was totally wrong about it originally (does that come as a surprise to anyone)

The good things about it: Where do I start?
Amazingly unique game play system that fuses the squad system, FPS and RPGs system into a single system that isn't confusing or hard to get used too. It also isn't so easy that a trained monkey could master it in 5 mins either which is nice caus then I get some satisfaction out of beating the game.

Very unique cast of characters also makes this game extreamly interesting that and the unique story line combined with the interesting choices you can make make this game amazing.

Oh yeah the graphics kick behind too just so you know.

The Bad things:
Well If your an achievement hungry 360er like me this game takes FOREVER to get all of the achievements. The first play through will take you maybe 20-50 or so hours and you'll have to complete it several more times to get all of the achievements.

The game is almost too long too - the side missions will take you additional hours and they are required to get the achievements.

Otherwise this game is perfect and has a lot of room to sequel on - so as long as they don't kill the story.

Side note: I really wish they had made some of this multi player - the map when approaching the conduit would have been an amazing multi player map <3.

Rent it or buy it?
Buy it indeffintly - good investment seeing how you could be playing this game for 100+ hours.

Grade:
8 out of 10 "mumbles random answers."

Assassins Creed

This game came out late last year and before it came out I have to say I was psyched - the quality of graphics looked amazing the game play look unique and incredible and how could you go wrong with the story I mean "assassins creed" how can you mess that up.

I bought this game at release and well lets say what I expect was not nearly met - well it didn't even go that far.

Within the first 30 or seconds of the game they did the only thing that could possibly ruin the story for me. I won't mention what they did so you don't yell at me for spoiling it.

The controls were easy - too easy I mean It really wouldn't surprise me if you could teach a monkey to play this game - a really dumb monkey at that.

If you do find a way to enjoy this game (which would surprise me) than you won't be doing it for long - this game took me about 14 hours to complete on the 360 and an additional 10 to get the remaining achievements. And I spent 60$ on this game so I was pretty annoyed.

Don't buy this game - don't even rent it unless you want the easy 1k achievement points on the 360 its not worth the time - sure the Graphics are amazing but so are the ones outside and I don't plan on playing those anytime soon.

Grade 2 out of 10 leaps of faith - aka don't take one on this game

Your portages is really a long term investment:

A lot of people use the same products over and over again and they don't even realize how much of an investor they really are. Sure you may not be a "share holder" or are directly profiting from the success of the products you use - but they wouldn't be successful without you.

Don't get what I am saying - try to think of it this way: A new product comes out and billions of invested dollars goes into it that money is spent - or gone by the time the product comes out and if no one buys it it doesn't come back. But if people invest they're money into using the product they get the money back and often will return a profit. So with out you the product is worthless no matter how much money some rich dudes poor into it.

Now if you can see what I mean maybe you should reaserech weather your makeing a good investment or not.

The first thing to do is see who your favorite company is more interested in pleasing either you, the investors or they're bank account.

-Products with you in mind. (these people do one or more of the following - and these products also balance out with they're investors too they just have a heart for the generall public too just as a side note.)
These products take the proceeds of your portages and reinvest them into you or your general community.
Example:
The deparment store Target© invests 2% of they're total proceeds to the local community which may not sound like a lot but it is if you consider the amount of people who shop at that store.
And its not something they half to do; but they do it anyways because your more important to them then they're money because with out you - they couldn't exist.

Providing economic boost to your local economy -
This is by creating additional jobs to your community rather than shipping over sees to save money or using locally grown or manufactured products that are more expensive than imported ones.

The product you put your money into to make them better quality or decrease the price over time with out decreasing the general value of the product.
The best example of this is Johnson and Johnson - they have taken they're profits and made them into product improvements for years making sure you get the most bang for your buck - with a generall concern for the products effectiveness and quality. Good job!

And finally the people put the proceeds into the world as a whole.
Example:
GE takes your money for energy but instead of fattening they're own bank accounts or fattening the bank accounts of the people who invested in them who are already very rich they put your money into saving the endangered whales and stuff which makes them more concerned with the world becuse with out the world we wouldn't exist and with out world we wouldn't exist and without us yet again their product will fail. (Not Like it will matter if their is no world left IMO.)

Products with the investors (or themselves) in mind (leaving out examples so I don't get sued. - I don't wanna be sued.)

Increasing the profits on a product without increasing the general value of the product.
To do this they often cut corners - maybe cut out more expensive ingredients or sell the product for more with out making the product more worth your money. This is also known as stealing but in a nice way.

Killing the environment
Throwing trash in the ocean is defiantly a way to turn a money loss into less of one - but its all about money nothing else.

Shipping jobs over sees:
American workers too expensive? Not a problem not a problem we shall ship build a factory over seas and pay the people slave wages - negativity impacting the local economy and the world economy as a whole.

Anyways I am pretty tired so I am leaving you to think of all that - I shall return to give you part two of how to invest better later on this week but this is a good start its better to take it slow.
