Movie Review: Layer Cake

I may have not liked Daniel Craig's first attempt at being James Bond, but I did like him as a witty drug dealer in L4yerCake.
This movie is about a British "Gangster" who is about to quit his life of crime and gets involved in one more deal that starts off looking good and ends up being one bad thing after another.

The casting in this movie was done in a way that was near perfect - which is a big reason why I enjoyed it so much.
This movie has a long plot development which is done with the right amount of action to keep it interesting and not too much that would over stimulate you and ultimately confuse the development of the story. This movie isn't a shoot em' up or a psychological thriller but a happy median between the two combined with the charm of a British gangster who just wants to make it in the world.

The only real negative I can think of for this movie is how it ends. Without going into any details that reveal the story I can tell you that you will be at least a little bit disappointed with this ending or lack they're of one. But that isn't reason enough not to see it because the rest of the movie is amazing . I definitely recommend seeing this movie.
